Anne is a dynamic character; that is, she changes in the course of the play. What does Anne's gift giving reveal about her? How do her gifts to her mother and Peter show that she has changed?

Anne's gift giving reveals that she has decided to try to like new people and understand that some people will not think the same things as her. When she gave her mother a present it showed that she is trying harder to be more nicer to her and is giving her a try, so she can be kind. I think that the trying part was really good because she just didn't think about it and start to cut out her mother, but tried to accept her.

The gift to Peter told to Peter and the others Anne can change her thoughts about people who are not like her. Also, it showed her love and kindness to Peter. Since at the beginning, Anne did not know Peter and did not appreciate that he wasn't used to girls and having company, her thoughts about others greatly changed. I think that by giving a more meaningful gift to Peter he got a feel that she liked him and respected him.
